Witherfall是一支源自洛杉矶的旋律金属乐队，成立于2013年。乐队由Joseph Michael（也是知名乐队Sanctuary的成员）和Jake Dreyer（前Iced Earth/Demons & Wizards的成员）组建，围绕鼓手Adam Sagan（已故）、技艺高超的贝斯手Anthony Crawford（Allan Holdsworth、CHON）展开。自那时起，该乐队已发布了三张备受推崇的专辑：《Nocturnes and Requiems》（2017年）、《A Prelude to Sorrow》（2018年）和《Curse of Autumn》（2021年），以及一张迷你专辑《Vintage》（2019年）。Witherfall从不偷懒，在《Curse of Autumn》中，他们请来了著名鼓手Marco Minnemann（The Aristocrats、Steven Wilson），确保单曲《As I Lie Awake》、《The Other Side of Fear》和《The River》的基础堪称一流。在即将推出的专辑中，Minnemann将再次与乐队合作，而鼓手Chris Tsaganeas（Wax Owls）和多乐器演奏家Gerry Hirschfeld（Willie Nelson）成为Witherfall的新成员。

每一张Witherfall专辑都是一个定义时刻。从《Nocturnes and Requiems》在金属领域的轰动到乐队与Charlie & Echo Winery合作推出葡萄酒（Tempest Red Blend），再到他们与Cig Neutron（Devil’s Workshop）合作的音乐视频《The Other Side of Fear》，与Adroit Theory Brewing Company合作的啤酒（Shadows Black IPA）以及定制的Funko Pop套装，Michael和Dreyer一直以Witherfall为己任。虽然这段旅程并不是一帆风顺的，但决心是关键。
